This is the third book of four books in the Inheritance Cycle.
Brisingr starts with the Varden, Eragon, Saphira and every one attacking the empire. They go on different missions. Eragon and Saphira go looking for a weapon to fight the king with. Roran, Eragon's cousin, saves his fiance from a prison. He also goes on different missions for the Varden, moving up the ranks of the army. The book ends with another large battle.
I enjoyed this book. I felt that the characters returned to what they where in the first book. The story line was enjoyable and returned my faith in the series.
