Pride and Prejudice

Story:

The main character, Elizabeth Bennet, was the second born of five daughters. Her father was a country gentleman who had no sons. The family's inheritance was set to pass onto a distant cousin. The daughters only hope was to marry well.

 

So when a rich single gentleman moves into the neighborhood, the family bubbles with excitement. This is where the story starts, showing the problems of pride and prejudices.


Review: 9/10

I was shocked how much I loved this book. Little time was spent on describing settings. The author spent there time with dialog and thoughts of the characters. It showed a deep understanding of the human mind, when under the influences of both love and anger. This is not only true of the main characters but also of all involved.
