Eldest
by Christopher Paolini
Story:
This is the second book of four books in the Inheritance Cycle.
Eldest starts with Eragon being sent to be trained with the elves. Eragon and Saphira learn more about magic and combat. Meanwhile, Eragon's home town is being attack by the king's henchman. Ergaon's cousin takes charge of the towns people, leading them away from the town and to safety in the south where they meet up with the Varden and Eragon after his training.
Review: 4/10
I didn't enjoy this book. It seemed to be preachy and unnatural to the established characters. I did like some of the new characters and their story lines.
