Welcome to the Wood Working area. In this area of the site, I plan to show different projects and have some general information about wood working.

As a example here is a very rough cut of a chess piece. The darkened part of the wood under the lip is were it got burned. This happened as I tried to dry the green peace of wood in a microwave.

This is another rough cut. This time I was playing with hollowing out a piece of wood. I also used a band saw on this item for a better start piece.
