1lb Milk Chocolate

80 Butter Crackers (Such as Ritz)

3-8 Drops of Peppermint Extract

 

--- Instructions---

 

This is a simply recipe. First you melt the chocolate in a double boiler. (some kinds of chocolate you can microwave to melt but this may not be as good) Once your chocolate is liquid add in the peppermint to taste. Be careful as peppermint extract is very potent, a little goes a long way. Once you have the peppermint chocolate as you like it, dip the crackers. Cover them on all sides with chocolate and lay them out on wax paper or parchment paper, Let the chocolate cool off and enjoy this salty sweet treat.

You can speed up the cooling and hardening of the chocolate by placing them in the fridge or freezer.
