Rice Pudding



½ Cup Uncooked Brown Rice
1 Cup Water
1 Tsp Oil
2 ½ Cups Milk
1/8 Cup Honey
¼ Tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
1 Tsp Vanilla
½ Cup Raisins



Cook the rice, oil and water on the stove top for 30 minutes. Add half the milk and all the raisins. Bring this to a boil. Once boiling lower the heat to a simmer, covering the pot and cooking for another 15 minutes. Now stir in the rest of the milk, all of the honey and flour and simmer for another 5 minutes. Take off the heat and stir in the vanilla. Let cool and enjoy.
